interesting development around Atom Bank 👀 @PollenStreetCapital reportedly looked at acquiring Atom, with one potential strategic outcome being a combination of Atom + Tandem, which Pollen Street already owns. That could create a much larger UK digital bank with significant scale across mortgages, savings, consumer lending and green finance. The big question is valuation. Atom shareholders were reportedly looking for £600m+, while Pollen Street’s offer was below that. If the valuation gap narrows, could we see Tandem + Atom?
