Why does MEXC charge zero maker fees?
MEXC uses a 0% maker fee on spot trading as a liquidity acquisition strategy. Taker fee is 0.10%. Futures: 0% maker / 0.01% taker — among the lowest in the market. This makes MEXC popular with day traders and algorithmic trading bots.
How many cryptocurrencies does MEXC list?
MEXC lists 2,000+ tokens — more than any other major centralised exchange. The platform lists new projects extremely quickly, often as the first exchange. This attracts early adopters, but requires caution as many listed tokens are highly speculative.
